Dublinia
Viking and Medieval Dublin
Located beside Christ Church Cathedral in the heart of Dublin, Dublinia is an interactive museum experience where children and adults alike can experience what it was like to live in Viking and Medieval times. Walk where they walked, wear what they would have worn and immerse yourself in how they would have lived!
Dublinia is the perfect way to learn about Dublin’s rich history, in an entertaining and stimulating environment ideal for children. As well as recreation, the museum contains artefacts found in Dublin on permanent loan from the National Museum of Ireland, including those from the famous Wood Quay excavations.
The tour finishes with a visit to the top of the Medieval Tower. It’s 96 steps, and worth every one for the spectacular views of the city you’ll get from the top!
